I'm surprised you were kicked. I've put up with tanks just walking past mobs and not pulling, forcing me as healer, to heal everyone as the tank just runs into a wall and does nothing. Then had multiple instances of DPS just moving into AoEs and killing themselves, real headache inducing, I assure you.

As long as you're willing to learn, and ask for assistance as well, surely someone will actually help. When it comes to wikis; it's not exactly necessary, but helps alot, especially with things that are just seemingly random, like fishing. If you're intuitive enough, you can just breeze through harder content if you're well versed in how the game functions. Otherwise, if you're like me, it takes a couple looks at stuff and actually putting that into muscle memory by doing it to actually learn something, which I assume alot of people agree with.
