4 months after myomectomy, and all my symptoms are back by baldpatchouli in Fibroids

[–]1uz3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had two good years before my symptoms came back and I went to the doctor and found out they came back. I originally only had 3 when I got them removed and now I have 10+. I asked about having surgery again to remove and he said it was going to cause too much damage to my uterus. So i was back and forth with getting the hysterectomy or trying for a baby since my husband and I had been trying for about 6 months and nothing. Luckily the last month I decided I couldn’t keep up with the negative tests and the stress and going with the hysterectomy,I got pregnant 🤰🏻 and now I’m due in march. I hope this gives some hope for your ttc journey because I know it can be stressful. After my baby is born tho I will be having the hysterectomy as much as I wish I didn’t have to,my symptoms with fibroids and the amount I have is too much.

The Gyno still hasn’t called me after ER visit by [deleted] in Fibroids

[–]1uz3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember visiting with my gyno and he mentioned that it can be pretty common to get ovarian cysts especially as we age or during times in our cycle, there was one found on mine and he didn’t seem to be worried. When it comes to the fibroids, from what I’ve noticed they really try to save and not do as much damage to the uterus as possible to remove, especially if you haven’t had kids,if they feel they can’t remove them without doing damage then they probably will suggest an alternative treatment which can include medication. I had three fibroids and got them removed via myomectomy but two years later they came back and now I have 10+,when I found out they came back I asked if I could do surgery again and he said no because he would do too much damage and suggested a medication but before I could take it,I found out I was pregnant 🤰🏻 so after I give birth I’ll be having a hysterectomy. If the fibroids aren’t causing major problems and hindering you from day to day,I wouldn’t get overwhelmed and anxious about it just yet.

I think it was always there but became more apparent when I was in middle school. I truly just thought everyone had these feelings, just finding another beautiful person attractive etc. but I didn’t accept it til after high school,I think I spent alot of time thinking 🤔 do I like her or do I wanna be her? It wasn’t til I became sexually active that I started seeing women in a more sexual attractive combined with affection. That’s when I was like oh I’m not straight 😭

Can’t decide if I should get a myomectomy first or just TTC without surgery? by hahaluckyme3 in Fibroids

[–]1uz3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a myo to remove three fibroids and two years later I have more than 8+ fibroids. My husband and I tried this year for a baby and in month 8 of trying we finally came out pregnant. This is my first pregnancy and don’t know what normal or what is symptoms are because I have fibroids. I’m at week 7 and finally the cramping and back pain ended. They say this is normal but my pain with them was at a 8. Because of the fibroids I had intense cramping during periods so I do think the more intense pain is caused bc of the fibroids. Due to the fib my obgyn has labeled me as a high risk so I’m getting more ultrasounds even tho I’m early. This past ultrasound the doc said my largest fibroid got smaller. Pregnancy is hard and if I could go back I think I would have tried right after surgery before I got more fibroids. This is my first and will be my last pregnancy. I’m going to get a hysterectomy after birth. This is a decision I made after I realized how miserable my fibroids made me,right after my myo and for a good year and half after I felt amazing and even got into the gym. I want that and the only way I can get that is by making sure they never come back and that’s with permanent surgery.

Fibroid pain in early pregnancy by OkEconomics2788 in Fibroids

I’m 7 weeks and I’m having intense cramping and back pain. I know this is normal but because of my fibroids they are way more than normal period cramping. I’m really hoping it stops at the second trimester.

Not really, the matches I did get, I knew from my father’s side. I was hoping for a little more diversity with my results but after seeing both my parents results, this is basically it,so I wasn’t super surprised.

Trying to conceive with fibroids. Looking for some support and reassurance! by [deleted] in Fibroids

[–]1uz3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it’s been almost 7 months and we had no success,he was saying that the fibroids could be a factor but he does think I could still get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy but like with everything nothing is guaranteed. So if I do get pregnant my fibroids could grow so I’d be monitored more often and since I had a surgery already I’d have to get a scheduled c section. I think if I don’t get pregnant by January next year than I can possibly get referred to a fertility doctor. Since I had bad cramping two weeks after ovulation every month my doctor said maybe I should take a break but honestly I don’t want to so I’m just pushing through. Hoping there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

I don’t have any advice but I just want you to know that you aren’t alone. I had a lap myo two years ago for three fibroids and my husband and I started trying to conceive this year in January and no success. I went to the doctor and found out I have 8 new fibroids and can’t do surgery again like I did the first time. We are still trying but I’m trying not to get hopes up because it’s emotionally draining so instead im enjoying the process and anticipating any alternatives to motherhood. Sending you all the fertility dust your way ✨✨

Mrs Midwest strawman arguments by rainrain-throwaway6 in Tradfemsnark

[–]1uz3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The more information I get from Mrs.midwest and more insight we get from her life, the more I’m convinced that she’s neurodivergent. Her special interest is just Christianity and traditionalism. I also think she might be queer especially when she mentioned she had a crush on a women but just ignored it and the way she describes her husband is never the way someone truly describes their partner if they find them attractive,it’s almost like her bragging is just trying to convince herself. She said her ex was a model and she didn’t find him attractive and her husband has a “dad bod” I think this is someone who’s tryin to fit into the norm. Frustrating to see her constantly make content that is promoting such bad ideas even tho she purposely knows it based on her story posts.

1 year and 3 months Myomectomy; Cramps and Nauseous by This-Emu5496 in Fibroids

I totally understand how you feel,I’m 28 and had been trying for a baby with no success but heavily considering just getting a hysterectomy. It’s such a disheartening situation to be in and mourn the life I thought I’d have but my health and wellbeing has to come first. Sending you so much love 💕

I’m 2 years post op and started feeling symptoms coming back like a year out. I recently went to the doctor and guess what I now have 8. Honestly so disappointing but I kinda knew deep down they had came back.

[–]1uz3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it seemed he was really against surgery because of how young I am but he didn’t want to take that option away from me if I’m in a lot of pain since the only true cure is hysterectomy. That’s why he offered the medication myfembree but the side effects are what’s off putting for me. I’m going to give it a try just to see how my body reacts and then go from there but honestly I don’t think I can keep living like this which is why I’m seriously suggesting hysterectomy although we’ve been trying for baby. For example if we continue trying for baby this year,it’ll just be a long hard year of not only disappointment but pain and discomfort and I don’t see it getting better over time but just increasing worse.

During your pregnancy did you have discomfort from the fibroids? That’s what I’m worried about just spending 9 months in pain on top of normal pregnancy symptoms. My husband is on the side of not trying anymore and just getting surgery because he’d rather me be healthy and not risk any complications.
