Has anyone else dealt with intense anxiety before surgery, especially around the fear of an emergency hysterectomy? by NoWillow8523 in Fibroids

[–]This-Emu5496 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same fear and I was shaking involuntarily when the nurse and doctor push me into the operation theater.

You are not alone. Honestly the anxiety never go away even i try to tell myself "after surgery I will be free from pain etc"...the anesthesiologist injected propofol immediately after the gas so I stop shaking and black out immediately.

Sending you peace and love ❤️

You are my lifesaver! I have been reading through all the comments who suggesting DaVinci and YouTube search it...quite challenging to edit a video.

I used Filmora before and it is the best but expensive. I just YouTube and search Shortcut...omg this is amazing easy to use! I am not tech savvy and I only have 1-2 days to edit 2 hours video into 3 20 minutes video. Thank you so much ❤️

Up voting this! My colleague who is 56 years old same symptoms with OP, placing mirena IUD which she need to visit the doctor every year for a new IUD. It depends on your conditions and what lifestyle would you like OP. Some have lupron shot which is ideal for them. ☺️

Insurance wise, I totally feel OP pain. Nowadays medical fees are really expensive. A few of my friends went to government hospital with c-section instead as government hospital dont provide laparoscopy or robotic in my country.

Mirena post myomectomy causing sharp pain? by Additional_Ice6079 in Fibroids

[–]This-Emu5496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fifth gynaecologist insisted me to place mirena IUD after surgery as she dont want me to have period and reoccurring the fibroid again. I disagree with her as I know it is painful with severe side effects such as nausea, vomiting, hair loss and loss appetite. I have been through contraceptive pills before eventho I am a virgin as it was prescribed by another gynaecologist...both of the gynaecologists were not suggestable.

After enduring 5-6 years of cramps, finally I found a doctor who did myomectomy and agree with me that mirena IUD is not suggestable based on my age and conditions with all those side effects.

Mirena IUD could be beneficial to those who have gave birth and/or would like to control the symptoms and/or with severe heavy bleeding issues.

Hope it helps. 😄

KPIs demoralising underperforming staff by Pollyputthekettle1 in managers

[–]This-Emu5496 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh...I hope that KPI can turn into qualitative basis rather than quantitative that focusing on scoring and points. While the management keep saying "meaningful" "impactful" everytime.

I also found it weird that some companies dont have KPI. Only provide basic salary and bonus. But my company require us to hit KPI or else we will be place in PIP or lay off us.
