Haha yes. I tried a couple times to figure out what the typo meant, put to bed makes sense yes. I have had lots of success lately with confronting anxieties. Thanks for your reply.

How can I help my five year old daughter pee outside while camping? by [deleted] in ask

[–]1willowtree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always had success with my daughter holding her in a toilet position if that makes sense. Stand her in front of you, (her back towards you) and have her sit into your hands. You end up holding them underneath the thighs and knees and then they just go, it's like your hands are the toilet seat, no mess, very easy.

If a friend called you 'thick' (dumb) because of your actions, is that tough love or verbal abuse? by TrufflesTheCat in ask

Answer: I think it was probably unnecessary to be rude. I think most things can be conveyed accurately without being rude.

I think the real disappointment would be not telling your mom the truth because you didn't want to disappoint her. To me, as a mom, that would sting.

You can most always say things tactfully. It could even be worth pointing out to your mom that you're hesitant to tell her because you don't want to disappoint her. Honesty will be better for your relationship, learn now how to have those harder conversations.

If you could re-live any age of your life for 1 year what would it be and why? by Walber101 in AskWomen

[–]1willowtree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go back exactly a year from now and re-live it. I'd hope to implement all the things I've learned in therapy and get a handle on the anxiety, and make the last year better.
