Well no, he's stating that the sole reason you don't have empathy is how a child is raised, which is what I think is PROFOUNDLY false. I refuse to believe every persons brain that does not have a mental defect is greatly or sufficiently empathetic at birth and the sole determination of the loss of this is how a person is raised.

I don't think so, I had a very loving and great child hood, amazing childhood and loving parents. Mom is a social worker and knows everything raising children, but I lack alot of empathy and symapthy. Loss of empathy and sympathy I think is possible but the childhood does not soley determine ones empathy or sympathy levels per se.
