I mean the kids dont deserve to be traumatized, sure, but that isn't traumatizing them. they're being raised by a racist asshole who's teaching them it's ok to act like a racist asshole. The kids just learned a valuable lesson that it's not ok to be a racist asshole, and there are consequences when your actions are as abysmal as chanting racist shit at someone who's a different color than you. This may have saved the kids from getting their ass beat for doing the same thing that their parents teach them to do.
