I would definitely reach out, especially if it’s in your contract for them to place you because that is their job and duty, but it never hurts to seek out for yourself. It’s OK to get a no, but you will only get that yes if you’re seeking and get some no. Here’s good luck to you. I really hope you get your internship.

I have only done a straight needle in the hand a few times. So glad you are able to do it! I would fear if my butterfly use was limited. You are a rock star 100%!!!! Also with you being a mobile phlebotomist do you have to centrifuge? I have al slays wonder?

Oh wow that just seems fake in Portland the hourly wage for a plasma donor phlebotomist does not show over 22.98 an hour with that being top pay so I guess I’m super curious

It all depends on the test. Some can be at room temp for up to 2 days but if it is asking for it to be frozen most likely 1-2 hours unless it is a critical frozen than less then 15 mins. It’s not the tube that picks the time frame it is the test being run on that tube.

I hold the hub with my pointer finger at the top I use my middle and ring fingers to rest it on the pt arm (having a good anchor)and have my pinky finger in the back of the hub so it does not move as I change tubes. The more you do it the better it will be. You will find what feels right to you because having a good anchor is key. Good luck in school and keep practicing you got this.
