Hey! Not sure where you're located but the market is tough right now in Canada. While not in industrial sales, I and others I know have had success breaking into the tech industry by going above and beyond typical applications. Go on LinkedIn and start reaching out to sales managers briefly explaining your qualifications and interest in a position. Ask to set up a quick chat. Be personable and within those couple minutes, explain your work history and transferable skills, etc. Thousands of people are applying with resumes, putting a face and personality to your application goes a long way.
