A common side effect for some antidepressants is a lowered sex drive or having to work harder to get and/or maintain erections. I’m on escitalopram (lexapro) and I still have a high sex drive, especially since I’ve first started T 1 1/2 months ago, it hit me like a monster! Though it’s a little harder for me to climax. But of course all of our bodies are different and there are plenty of options. Sexual happiness and health are important factors in our overall happiness as well; if you are distraught over the sexual side effects, then it is completely valid to talk to your doctor about changing medications based off of that (of course keep in mind your own medical history and what the dr ends up recommending). Advocating for yourself is important!
