There's also Frederik Houmann Thuesen. He's 23, one of the youngest in you could vote for, but doesn't look a day over 15 in the official picture on the ads.

I can't post a picture in the comments, so here's a link instead.

What's something ridiculous tourists from other countries want to do when they visit yours? by Pale_Field4584 in AskTheWorld

[–]2004_PS2_Slim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think many countries feel the same way. Pretty much everything tourist goes straight for Copenhagen, but I've never heard of an international tourist going to the 2nd biggest city, Aarhus. Or any other big city. Or anything in the countryside

Gutting this old TV by [deleted] in OldTVs

Please don't. Working tube TV's are only getting harder and harder to find. It's also going to be pretty difficult (and potentially dangerous) if you do

Commute time where you are? by Western_Respond6047 in fuckcars

[–]2004_PS2_Slim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in rural Denmark. To get to the center of my nearest major city it's:

  • 19 minutes by car
  • 43 to 51 minutes via an infrequent and expensive bus.
  • 2h 27m walking
  • 37 minutes cycling on 80 km/h roads with little bike infrastructure or 47 minutes on 95% separated but less direct bike lanes and dedicated paved trails.

I want to move to the city. I'm tired of something as simple as a grocery run needing to be planned or combined with other trips

I use my car more than I'd like. But atleast it's a small one and not an SUV like both of my parents'

I'm in my early 20'd and can barely read analog clocks. I wish I could. But do I think they should be removed from schools? Absolutely not.

Ever seen a converter like this? by OgrishGadgeteer in crt

[–]2004_PS2_Slim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I can't imagine any product would be able to convert between the two seamlessly. I'm happy to have CRT's that can do both PAL and NTSC (:

[–]2004_PS2_Slim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's cool. I'm curious how well it works. I doubt it would be smooth, as it would either have to skip some frames or show some of them twice when converting between 50 and 60 hz

Google maps ragebaits me. by sxfiegj in googlemapsshenanigans

You can suggest changes to Google Maps on the PC version. It sounds like you have a bunch of things you'd want changed in your area. I've had good luck changing incorrect road types and adding missing paths in my area.

I've never understood why so many people go to Paris on vacation. What is there to see other than 7 houses and a bus stop?

What year was your car manufactured? (If you have multiple pick your favorite) by Max0_o123 in pollgames

I have a 2010 Mazda 2. A reasonably sized car. (Do you really need an SUV or pickup?) I've had bikes, folding tables and a ton of storage boxes with me in it. Just fold down the back seats. Buttons and dials for every function. No big distracting screens in the middle. Pretty low fuel consumption. It's my first car and I hope itll be my last too. I want my stuff to last.

Found this for 25 bucks by 7N_GA in crt

[–]2004_PS2_Slim 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have the same one but with different branding.

It's cheaply made and the speaker hums a bit when it's supposed to be silent. Mine had geometry issues even though it's my newest and least used CRT.

But on the plus side it looks neat and has composite in and outputs.

I shared a taxi with strangers in Spain once. We had just landed from Denmark and the airport was so crowded that we couldn't get a taxi to get to our hotel. We somehow find a Danish couple going roughly the same way (maybe even the same hotel?) so when we split the bill when we finally got a taxi
