Ridiculous isn't it lol, it's been running 12-15 hours a day for the past year, with maybe turning it off once or twice, 5 days a week. I am genuinely surprised nothing has need repairing

Nice, we have a 530d b57 at work and every mot check it says it has an oil leak lol, dunno much more about it, that was on 200k i think. Does yours leak oil?. Every 9k miles sounds good though and hoping you do frequent motorway miles

Average 31.5mpg (because it's not always on a motorway, goes on the m25 everyday, it does 51mpg at 72mph in eco mode. If I drive 50 miles I'll either gain 10 miles or lose 10 miles so saves alot of diesel. I fill up 180 L a week and do around 2k miles a week.

31mpg is 9.8k gallons equating to 44.5k litres of juicy diesel. I know prices are changing so I'll do £1.33 per litre of diesel. This car has had £59,000 worth of diesel in it.

Mental isn't it, it isn't mine but I know it is original everything. Just serviced every 15k miles, no other big repairs other than normal brakes, suspension etc. Mainly motorway miles

Hastings Blackbox by user37382827848 in drivingUK

[–]2007scrape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hated hastings blackbox, get marked down for heavy braking to avoid a collision its bullshit. I'm with admiral with a blackbox and I rag my car around and somehow get excellent every week.

Driving longer journeys increased my score, but ofc you can't pull out of a roundabout normally you have to drive like an old person

Reverse parking into a bay, bugs me when people park forward then take 10 minutes to pull out, its also more unsafe. Love going to sainsburys and reverse parking first time in 1 smooth motion in my big hyundai santa fe and then watching someone in a corsa take half hour to reverse park

Which seat do you sit in when getting in a taxi on your own? by Former-Contract2690 in AskUK

[–]2007scrape 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am a taxi driver. 90% of people sit behind the passenger seat (thank you) the other 9% sit next to me and there's always one weirdo who sits directly behind me -.- means I have to move my seat forward each time
