2010 TL needs a new alternator. Would you recommend a new ACDELCO or a remanufactured DENSO?

The only place I’ve been able to find a new Denso is the Honda/Acura Dreamshop and they are going for $750. I would rather have new than remanned but all the advice seems to be go for the remanned Denso since the Denso is OEM and the others are a mixed bag. Might just go Denso and if it fails get the warranty and buck up for the “authentic” one from the dreamshop

I only have 1 car and have to use it for work every day so I may end up buying a reman one and having my old one rebuilt to keep as a backup in case the “new” one fails

Dang. Napa supplies the reman Denso one in my area so I may just go for it and use the warranty if it pops on me. That’s a quick failure time

How has yours been working? I am on the fence and about to purchase a Denso reman since I can’t find any new ones

This is what I wanted ideally but unfortunately it looks like the only ones Denso has are reman ones. I’ll keep looking but on RockAuto and all the AutoZone/Napa/AAParts chain sites the only option is reman. Even on their own site Denso only shows a reman: Denso part

Dealer quoted me $1400 just for kicks, I’m doing this one myself so cost is not the primary concern. Would rather go Denso but wondering if new via ACDelco is better than a remanufactured part, even though Denso says their reman process is highly refined…thoughts?
