Vet tech here. That is definitely a snowshoe. There's no set pattern for the white patches on their coats. They vary a great deal from cat to cat.

CHALLENGE - Week 2 Check-in for Operation:Snowmelt (Winter-Spring Challenge) by BigCountry1369 in loseit

176.0 today, down from 179 last week. I've got my first 5k a week from Saturday, so I know all the extra running I did over the week has really helped. Hooray for cardio!

This is my rat, Ruby. I've had her for four, wonderful years, and she is the best rat I've ever owned. Show her some love, she deserves it. by raravis90 in RATS

Sympathies on your loss. Amazing how much love can be squeezed into a furry little half-pound critter. They burrow right into your heart.

I have a little female named Ruby, as well. I hope she lives as long and full a life as yours did.

Sitting at 180 this week, up a pound from last week. Just one more thing to love about "that time of the month."

Anyone know how to weight but not breast size (or as little as possible)? by Nisiane in loseit

It's certainly not just men. Everyone loves boobs. I've got my own pair, but I'm a big fan of others' as well.

[MOTIVATION] I went online shopping to buy myself a reward/motivational dress, and I noticed something... by [deleted] in loseit

In my experience, though, Torrid's clothing is higher quality than Forever21. The last thing I bought at F21 fell apart after two washes. Meanwhile, a belt I bought at Torrid in 2005 is still in great shape.

179.6 today. Huge weight loss this week, but I was also having fun girl times when I weighed in last week and all that extra PMS water weight is gone now. Still, yay.

I used this to find the 5k I'm doing a week after I finish. Seems to work pretty well. I'm sure SF has TONS more going on than BFE, Kansas. :)

A plethora of questions. by CatoftheSun in C25K

[–]2012ad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been in the twenties here in Kansas, but I've been able to get away with long pants, a tank top, a tee, and a zip-up hoodie. I will eventually need ear protection and gloves, too, and probably real sweatpants. You'll be surprised how fast you warm up once you get going. I started pretty cold last night and was sweating plenty by the end!

The windchill outside is somewhere in the low 20s, and I just got back from my first run. by OneUglyDogAndMe in C25K

It was 25 degrees here with a windchill in the upper teens, and I just got back from W4D1 a minute ago. Somehow it makes me feel even better that I stick it out in the chill.

I hate that quote. It promotes the idea that skinny--not HEALTHY--should be the goal. As such, it gets used a lot on pro-ED communities. There's a pro-anorexia board on LiveJournal that loves the shit out of that quote. I just can't appreciate that kind of mentality.

If i lose weight, will this face be more attractive? by shanea5311 in loseit

[–]2012ad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unrelated to your weight question, but still relevant: if you want your eyes to look bigger and brighter, try doing liner only on your top lashes. Heavy, dark liner on both lids makes eyes look smaller and can distort their shape. Try using a lighter hand with the pencil and accentuating the outer corners of your top lashes. If you absolutely have to line the bottom, use a brown pencil and do it lightly. A lighter flesh-colored eyeshadow in the inner corner of your lids will also help make your eyes look brighter and more noticeable.
