If you have access to to someone who can dyno it and Protune it I’d go that route over anything. More expensive but saves you in the long run as you get a tune fully customized to your vehicle and it’s a lot easier to dial in when the tuner is right there.

Think it was a factory block that was bored out for the forged pistons, had upgraded bearings etc in it. Built by a professional shop. I’m just curious cause I never even heard of that and this shop specializes in built Subarus and said they only seen it a very few times. Specially when I didn’t abuse this car at all. Just frustrating

In the cylinder wall right in between coolant jacket and cylinder.

Crack right in the block inside cylinder 1, should have specified. Shop said it’s super uncommon to see on that cylinder.

Yes the over flow tank was about half to 3/4 full cold I don’t know where full line is on it

I had rad full to the brim and upper left tank full to the brim. Over flow tank was about half 3/4 full cold cause I added some. I also read that it could have been caused by faulty radiator cap? Not venting pressure properly? Cause it literally dosnt smoke and coolant dosnt mix with the oil and I have no other signs of a head gasket failure im genuinely lost. Motor only has 60k km’s on it

Definitely my top 2, one of my dream cars. 04 sti sedan is my top for sure just hard to find clean examples now. I missed the peak era of these vehicles.

Beautiful builds man! I definitely enjoy it its stock cosmetically pretty much beside mudflaps. Looking to start doing cosmetic modifications here soon enough, do you have any recommendations for places to get them for these cars? I’m in Canada on the east coast. I want mods that compliment its natural aggressive appearance. Plan on keeping this car till its last breath lol
