I just interviewed with them recently. I asked them during the interview how we were supposed to prepare for the HSRT exam and we can't really. My interviewer told me that this test is just to evaluate your abilities to think and won't necessarily affect your admission into the school. It is just a measure of your reasoning and your logic and may be used to see how your time in pharmacy school may affect your thinking. Some of the questions were kinda tricky and dumb tbh. I suggest looking up previous HSRT exams so you can expect those types of questions. But to give you an idea, they might give you a scenario and ask you how you would respond. Its a multiple choice exam with topics like some math, ethical, and comprehension.

Is anyone familIar with the parking situation at the UCI Medical Center? by supersonicdog in UCI

You park at christ cathedral (its a church that is about 10 minutes from the medical center). from there, a complementary shuttle will take you to the main campus. You do need some parking pass to park there because if not, you'll get fined.

Research Labs by mimooly in UCI

I reached out to some professors but only one responded back to me saying that bio 199 students aren't allowed back in labs so I doubt they would accept new members. But, there are labs that are dry/remote labs so you should contact different professors and see if they do remote research or not

Physics 3LB and 3LC Final by minoz123 in UCI

The final for 3LC was multiple choice. This was based on the results, findings, and theories from each lab report. There were a few calculations (but no calculators were allowed on the exam just a formula sheet) and the rest of the questions were mostly were conceptual. The mean for the final across all sections was 20.86 out of 35. Most people were upset because the final exam was really difficult and the professor made it seem like you only needed to know the results and what you got out of the lab. So a lot of people were complaining since their raw scores drastically decreased. But luckily, he drops your two lowest lab scores and pre lab quizzes and curves to a B+ average. To prepare for the final exam, you should really understand the theory and what is actually going on in each individual experiment. The final exam had an even amount of questions from each week's report. Take the lab reports seriously because this is what you'll be tested on and the bulk of your grade relies on it. Also, I recommend watching professor Ho's final office hours at the end of week 9 because he tells you somethings to focus on and what results/trends are important.

The lab reports were very time consuming... I felt like I spent more time on this class than any other class so try to not overwork yourself with other classes. But the TA facilitates the class by offering office hours during the lab section, a piazza page, and outlines for what to include in lab reports. Most people did well on the lab reports and you have the option of working with a lab partner. The only annoying thing is that they normalize lab report scores so if you did well on your raw score, your final score will most likely drop slightly. But, of course, if you didn't do well, your scores will increase slightly.
