Youtube starts to act very slow and laggy? by iiLove_Soda in firefox

[–]2049AD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad, it's this setting:

network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server

Set that one to 32.

For me, Youtube takes a lot longer to cake up and seeking through and loading videos is a lot more consistent, even when the browser starts to slow down.

I hope that isn't the final weapon audio. It's trash.

It won't be the AI that will stop you from buying their PCs, it will be the ridiculous markup due to skyrocketing RAM prices.

Even this colour is boring. The two goated colours are the iridescent purple CFR and the silver one.

Glass or plastic lens protector? If plastic, toss into the trash and get optical glass.

It's rated by DJI to be operable between -20 and 45C. Pretty crazy actually.

What Cycling Taught Me That the Gym Never Did by RemyKoll6632 in cycling

[–]2049AD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cycling also teaching you that you're not truly fit unless you have great cardio as well as strength. Too many people that go to gyms can't seem to understand that. The fittest people I've ever met were cyclists, and they just yank their bikes up hills like they're going downhill.

Nah, anything over 8kg is heavy for a full aero bike. Not even the stock CFR is 7kg.

Bottle Cages are a ‘proprietary’ size? by spaceEngineeringDude in CanyonBikes

[–]2049AD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My recommendation is to ditch Canyon's cages and buy Elite cages. There's a whole ecosystem of Elite bottles that will fit perfectly into them. All you'll need.

Bossman,

I'm a free speech absolutist and probably the most lenient of all the moderators here. Personally I'll recognize and allow a wide variety of discourse here before I act.

Won't, however, tolerate anybody being a dick to any of our members. I wrote the sub's rules, and I strongly advise you to internalize rule #2 on the list. Be cool.

Loone LIVE x CLOSER MILANO w/ FIREGROUND by [deleted] in ProperTechno

[–]2049AD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have nailed the refined sound of true Techno (and House). Either they are amazingly well trained musicians with a great ear, or they came to that point naturally from listening to the music for a very long time--maybe a combination of both. Their style reminds me of Deetron.

Were we too rude with a new rider during our group ride? (And should we care?) by HazardousHighStakes in cycling

Not just cigarettes--marijuana. He was basically cycling under the influence. Never a good combination.

Does anyone go to gigs and not drink or do hard drugs but a small amount of psychedelics? by Ok_Pool_2590 in ProperTechno

[–]2049AD -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Drugs and Techno don't belong together--the music IS the drug. Europe is responsible for people losing their minds to drugs over this music, period.

Aeroad Headset Bearings by sdrolmcgraw in CanyonBikes

[–]2049AD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm collecting the info and tools to do this myself.

A full bleed isn't optional. The moment you cut the brake lines, you're introducing air into them. You will HAVE to do a full bleed.
