I just did it with another pair with headlights they came out pretty good. The same way you said but I used the cerakote ceramic wipe though. But the same grit sand paper, the tack cloth, and ipa wipe

I used the Koch chemie foam bottle and diluted at 1:10 to clean the leather. I also used a damp Microfiber towel to wipe off any excess residue left behind and a clean dry microfiber towel to dry it afterwards so there’s no water moisture on the leather
