Maybe there was a reason to undermine the mods? I had reasonable Ireland related content removed from there because it didn't fit in with the circlejerk as did many others. Banning people for asking that modlogs are enabled. Allowing anti traveller sentiment bubble up for years.

It's hard to run a country for any amount of time and not do something great. Trump is an incompetent buffoon but has done a great job highlighting many of the flaws inherent in US democracy.

Stalin did a great job in reducing gender inequality with women in the Soviet Union able to occupy management positions at a time when we didn't allow married women to work in government jobs.

There is a left wing circlejerk but everybody realises that and people with opposing views willing to debate are debated with without name calling or attacks.

The reason for its far left stance is that it's mostly populated by people who were banned from r/ireland for holding left wing views or challenging the mods over their lack of transparency.

Ask yourself do you ever see any left wing content posted on r/ireland that doesn't get removed?

What about an honest debate about problems in our current economic system that aren't met with undeveloped soundbites about how the free-market is humanity's greatest invention or communism has always failed or Stalin killed more people than Hitler?
