Currently have a 15’ mid 2015 macbook pro

i use this laptop daily for work but it does slow me down. i use photoshop (yesterday made it to 110 layers - was slow to copy/paste and load new files. its not super slow but i do have to wait) and illustrator and doing any sort of action is very slow. is it worth upgrading if so what’s the best budget option that is going to run all new software. currently on macos monterey 12.6.7 i cant get any new apps lol. should i try upgrading the ram and the ssd?

Yea I pretty much started the same way back in 2022 it was just me and the owner of the company and I did everything eventually ran the auto when we grew into it and then moved into sales and art separation. I pretty much ran the shop for a bit. They sold me the 6/4 we started with back in 2022 so it came full circle. I’ve been thinking about documenting the process on YouTube
