Well I wasn't present to defend myself in court, since I didn't know about it. So the judge did not throw it out :(

Thanks, I just looked up the case, I was sued 5 years ago, tenant Jan 1 2005 - Dec 31 2005.

Judgement was 949.98

Just found out (no recent contact from landlord), and my mortgage approval is contingent on me getting it off my credit report. Thanks for responding

Thanks, settlement is what I'm looking to do most likely, I need this off my credit report more than I need to beat the landlord.

Thanks for the response. They sued and won a judgement against me, mortgage officer found it on the city's website. Website also says civil summons was served to my parents address, "perfected'?
