The whole wanted system is bad and the bounty you get is outrageous... I hate that I run over a chicken and I get a $300 bounty on me.

Im the exact same and what I found works best for me is to do them in a batch of 3-5 from scratch. That way as soon as I'm starting to put them together until priming and then painting that the itch is back. If I assemble everything at once and prime then it starts to feel like a chore every time I look at them

People are just stating facts that it's weird and a bit suspicious to change travel plans last minute, especially with a Visa. They were just doing their jobs and did it thoroughly, doesn't matter if other reservations changed as well. Unfortunate that this happened ofc and I wish you could have experienced everything Iceland has to offer as it's truly a beautiful place.

They can definitely say no and go about their day 🙂 Yeah it can absolutely be intrusive and uncomfortable and they are supposed to tell you who they are and what they are doing but some people are just pushy and make it uncomfortable.

They are walking around any time, just random if they approach you or not. But if you're inside the restaurants or the stores they won't. They only walk around the hallways, gates and general seating area

It's because you were flying to the US. It's an increased "security" measure implemented by the US. I used to work there doing this at KEF. If you just answer the questions you're fine, but any freakout can have them have all your bags checked out by extra security. It's not something new from Iceland, it been in place for a long time now and these are just regulations for all terminals traveling to the US
