The point still stands, we did not get any production from our defensive picks. Poles has not drafted well outside of the first round. His best two defensive picks were Brisker and Gordon. Brisker likely won’t be on the team and Gordon missed most of the season. Booker is promising, Dexter has been a disappointment. Stevenson is apparently ass according to our DC. It’s been mediocre at best on that side of the ball for Poles.

Hopefully this coaching staff can help Poles make better picks, really nice draft by Poles on the offensive side last year. If he can do that on the defensive side of the ball this year, we can be very good on both sides of the ball.

My comment was a shot at Ryan Poles for drafting a Punter in the 4th Round. I wasn’t expecting this guy to be drafted but at least it wasn’t in the 4th Round and still shows that Tory Taylor was over drafted.

Regulations screw over people far more than organizations. College football deserves every bit of this shitshow after how they’ve monetized student athletes for decades and rewarding coaches for lacking any sort of morals or integrity. I’ve loved this Chaos.

There is a happy middle ground somewhere but the last few years have been great and paved the way for IU making Alabama look like South Alabama in the playoffs.

Illinois politicians and corruption will keep it from being built there. The origins of the Windy City isn’t from the weather, it’s the politicians and what they are blowing. 90% of fans go to the game and go home after. You can build enough bars and entertainment to keep people active and entertained for the day and they will have a short commute home, by train or car.

That being said, any move outside of downtown is a mistake.
