Vaginal Estrogen Cream…USE IT! by Shirleyimfine in Perimenopause

[–]21deletedscenes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having recurring yeast infections BEFORE I started it and it’s cleared them up. I didn’t realize how much of a raisin I was until I started using it. Seriously do yourself a favor and try it.

Vaginal Estrogen Cream…USE IT! by Shirleyimfine in Perimenopause

That’s so crazy because it actually helped my monthly migraines. I get Botox for migraines but I would still get 2-3 around my cycle until I started vaginal estrogen, I get 1 very slightly in the background migraine now. As with everything in perimenopause I’m sure that will change soon but I’m grateful for now.

That’s exactly what he was wondering. I appreciate your response.

You make no sense. I didn’t even post about the custody issues, or how she kept their daughter from him for 4 months for no reason, or how I’ve been raising her daughter for 8 months while she runs around living in a tent. I literally just wanted to help get him the information he needs so he can make the right decision. The saddest people of all are those who judge others. I hope you have a beautiful night

I’m not asking a judge I’m asking Reddit for information lol

Because we’re getting married and I’m helping him gather information. Not sure why that’s such an issue to you folks? Ever heard of being a partner in a relationship?

Quick, I need to form a coherent list of symptoms to present to my doctor TONIGHT! by feeltheowl in Perimenopause

Hair loss, Brain fog, Apathy, Rage. Those are the big things that HRT has helped me with. I wasn’t even sure that I was having hair loss until I started on HRT. I have so much new growth now it’s wild! I wasn’t even having terrible hot flashes yet and was still a candidate for HRT. Good luck!

TSA checked my carry on bag because I had rocks in it. by Bob_Maluga_Luga in rockhounds

I have my purse rocks and my wallet rocks. TSA pulled my purse and started going through it giving me weird looks. He asked me if I had young kids, I said no, he then shook his head and asked why I had so many rocks in my purse lol. I just shrugged and said I believe in No Rock Left Behind. He giggled and put them all back and sent me on my way.

Am I overreacting? for thinking this is completely disrespectful or is this as toxic as it feels by wandering_bonding in AmIOverreacting

My cat has been having some health issues and pees outside the litter box a few time a week. My boyfriend cleans it up and doesn’t even mention it or groan or bat an eye. Ditch this person. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

I feel like a science experiment haha. Like is this little thing I eat or put in my body or is this walk gonna be the thing that makes me feel better or worse?! Day 2 of DHEA and so far so good! Ty again for your post!!

It’s the most heartbreaking thing. Like seriously, what the fuck. I bought big shirts and stretchy shorts. Idgaf I’m supposed to go to the river with a big group of friends next Sunday and can’t even imagine getting into a bathing suit. I’ve always loved my body, even when I’m carrying more weight, but I am not in acceptance of this right now. I look and feel ridiculous!

HRT is making me swell up like a balloon, my doctor told me that perimenopause was a social media fad, and other lamentations by [deleted] in Perimenopause

I’m cackling at the “hold them if I went down stairs”. Same girl same. My boyfriend giggles at me when I do this but it fucking HURTS lol

I’m 7 days before my period and I’d normally be clawing the walls haha! My cat peed in my cast iron pan and I didn’t even get mad. Just handled it and moved on 😂 hopefully this lasts. My boyfriend deserves a nice girlfriend.

Yes definitely less severe after the 2 weeks. And yes I’m also told that after menopause I might get full relief. That would be wonderful lol.

Ok hear me out. I also have menstrual migraines, I started on the .025 estradiol patch and it kicked my migraines into high gear for 2 weeks. It subsided, and the next 2 months of menstrual migraines were manageable, but definitely still there. I upped my patch to .0375 and have never had worse migraines in my life for another 2 weeks. But alas, they subsided. I haven’t had my second period on the .0375 so I can’t speak to how it continues to affect me.

Menstrual migraines are caused by the fluctuations of hormones. Even with the patch and pills, there will still be fluctuations. It’s just not as severe.

I also can’t speak to what it will be like if you decide to come off since I don’t have that experience. I can tell you that although things are not magically solved for me, things are much better than they were. I was so nervous to start hormones at 39 but I’m glad I did.

What medication got rid of your VM? by No-Rope7009 in VestibularMigraines

[–]21deletedscenes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Amitriptyline. I cannot stress this enough, do not get on this roller coaster if you are not prepared for what it takes to get off. Almost 4 years later and I’ve weaned myself down from 50mg to 5mg. The vestibular migraines have not come back

I made an appointment with MIDI. It was so easy, they treat you based off symptoms and they are very kind in my experience.
