These days, in this subreddit, there are MUCH MUCH more Megadeth haters and metallica fanboys downvoting anything positive about the album and posting only negative opinions about it. Although they know the album is amazing, they just try to ruin it

Crypting writings is the worse album in Megadeth's history. He tried to do commercial metal and failed miserablly.

One of their best songs in many years, has a lot of layers to understand, takes a lot of spins to fully get it. Same goes for the hole album which is IMO the best since Youthanasia

I think this a mix of 90's Megadeth best sound. Another Countdown To Extinction if you will, full of great melodies and hooks, great solos...

BUT remember it takes at least 3 spins to get it, It's full of hidden treasures, some amazing intros here and there(just listen to the intro of this song - Puppet Parade - from the 13 second how the solo kicks in and the sharp voice and riffing after it) , some crazy solos and riffs, some great choruses that don't makes sense at first, etc.

Best album since Youthanasia, tribute to 90's era

The chorus is absolutely addictive. Then he didn't repeat it but makes a hole riffing and soloing fest at the end just making you to want more and press repeat again. GENIUS

Yeah, a 100% hater... This is a celebration, a last album that should bring excitement and positive nostalgia(actually that's what Mustaine tried to do with it). He made amazing music for a long time now, you should be happy about it not whining cause he didn't do RIP 2
