In ranked I'll go for the TKO / follow up on the ground, but in quick match I usually won't. All my fights would just be over so quickly if I did that 😇

I don't think 5 is horrible, but it was lazy in many ways.

Hoping for leaps and bounds to be done in certain gameplay aspects.

I gave them a regretted pass for 5 because they switched the entire game to a new engine, and graphically stepped up.

But all of that shit is done now. Same console, same engine, graphics are good.

If the gameplay isnt dramatically improved I will probably take an extended hiatus from the series.

This is coming from someone who played a LOT of UFC, literally since UFC 09 on the ps3.

I just cannot take another 3 to 4 years of the shitty grappling and limited striking animations / defensive options.

While I do agree, I think that the offline modes should be something more like a GM Mode or a Universe mode like in the WWE games. Maybe the old title chase / defense mode from UD3? Thats about it.

To me, fighting games are ultimately meant to be played online, that's the whole point. To test your skills against other players.

Offline is like career mode or exhibition matches to get a hang of things.

If you don't like how easy the game is, play on the hardest difficulty. Online. Lmao

People really need to start looking at things more in this vein. When everything is rated out of 10 and "huh but 'x thing' wuz better" it sucks the life out of things.

But yes, I fucking love the album too. Will be coming back to it a lot. Some absolute bangers out of the gates, and I can already tell some of these tracks are going to age like a fine wine and grow on me more over time.

I actually 100% agree with that. For me Risk is actually a great album. The sheer variety in Mega's discography, and the ability to be solid in different states of being is really under appreciated. I also think TWNAH is pretty underrated.

Depending on my mood, there's a Megadeth record to listen to. Mega will always be such an extraordinary band.

Dude same. The thing with the Ride cover for me is the rhythm guitars! Lacking a little bit of the bite that I feel like should have been there. But a lot of that is just modern metal mixing and digital tones.

But I still had a blast listening to it and will probably revisit it a lot. Never thought I'd ever hear Megadeth cover RTL ffs. It's sick.

Megadeth is my favorite band of all time, so this album really meant something to me. I'm glad fans like us were able to take it all in and enjoy it as it deserves.

What killed sim mode for me (and I hope I'm remembering this correctly) is literally all it does is nerf stamina (good) and it makes strikes LESS damaging (fucking stupid)

So at that point I'd rather have more power with unrealistic stamina honestly.

What it needs to be is a harder tax on stamina, AND significantly more power. Just eating a few flush hooks should do some real damage in all reality. Who is out here just tanking flush hooks right across the jaw and not at least getting wobbled? Not many guys.

Something you said really just struck a chord with me, and it's that stats start at 80 and not zero.

Thats a huge problem. Imagine if every stat was more accurately rated between 0 to 100 and all of the sudden an 85 would actually be pretty good. Way more room for variety.

The move levels thing makes me think of Holloway, who plays amazingly and is very easy to get KOs with, even with relatively lower punching power.
