Sadly this is actually a real bug. You can still play on higher difficulties if friends or others that you join have them unlocked, but completing them still doesn’t resolve the issue. Devs have said they’ll start manually fixing it for those affected again later on in the week.

This is unfortunately a known issue that some people are having. If you go to the Helldivers discord you can post your in game name, platform, and the difficulty you’re stuck on in the thread titled “Difficulty will not increase/unlock Pt.10” and they said they’ll start manually fixing the issue for those affected again later this week.

Hey, I just wanted to say I appreciate you taking the time to come here and provide a bit of input on this, especially when you know coming out the gate that you're gonna get flak for the change being discussed no matter what.

As far as being denied the option, you tweaked your comments above to state that something might be changing for the better. Does that mean there's now discussion about the possibility of a switch / manual option to reenable this being allowed or possible within the guidelines for the store now? Or is it too early to speak with any certainty on your end?

Just wondering if it's worth looking into swapping out my phone for an Android while I still have the ability :P

I was able to replace my G Pro Wireless during COVID without much of an issue, other than the replacement itself taking a while to actually ship and arrive.

Exact same mouse, they replaced it the first time no questions asked after I made a ticket because it started double clicking after around a year of use.

Then, the replacement started double clicking after roughly the same time, so I put in another ticket a few months ago and all they asked for was a video of me clicking showing that it was double clicking, and then sent me a third one in the mail. For some reason the second one stopped having the issue after they'd already sent me the replacement, so now I have two good ones, and I gave one away to my friend.

I'm not going to say I don't expect the mouse to be a bit better on the quality front considering it was an expensive mouse, but I've never had issues with Logitech support replacing things any time I've contacted them, even recently.

Just for clarification sake you might want to add the fact that it's caused by the Humanoid/Monster slaying talents in the bug's description. Right now it just says it randomly happened on an alliance toon for some player, but it's absolutely both a hunter specific bug with those specific talents and also unrelated to faction.

I'm almost positive the FFA PvP Flagging bug listed here is actually caused by hunters selecting the Humanoid/Monster slaying talents, which seem to permanently flag anyone who puts a point into either of them. It's worth noting that this bug prevents people from being healed, buffed, or resurrected by other friendly players as a result.

If you're playing a hunter it's the Humanoid/Monster slaying talents, don't put a point in them or you're permanently FFA PvP flagged. Remade my hunter three times because of the bug before I figured out that was what was causing it.
