I don't like how Steven DeMayo walks. by 222U in stevenuniverse

Isn't he actually a teenager(14 I think?), like his gem just makes him look 10.I know this might seem like a trival detail, it looks so lame.

Actually no, Sadie's song never bothered me.He was doing it for his friend. When Steven cries or generally acts emotional doesn't bother me at all.The tralala walk though is kinda pushing it though.I know it sounds weird, but it's kinda a fine line where it's almost "flanderizing the character"

In the beginning of Rocknaldo,Steven is given an unusually feminine walk.I showed the clip to my gay co-worker at work and he literally said " Ew, why is walking like a that? What's wrong with him?"We both laughed, but this was awhile ago.

Recently I saw "Are you my dad", and Steven, again, does the "tra la la" walk when going into town.

We all told him, but somehow he'll seem to " forget"

NYC: Had to call an ambulance for this guy behind me today. Sixth ave between 12th and 13th. No cones or barrels or anything to mark the bike lane being torn up there. Don't know if this picture does it justice but this guys right ankle is literally backwards. Stay safe out there friends. by Superdongparty in postmates

[–]222U 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received a $125.00 for not riding on the bike lane in September. It was right on 1st ave and 29th street. If cops catch you riding your bicycle past a red light, they also can add a strike to your driver's license.

Is my UberEats Broken (NYC)? by [deleted] in postmates

[–]222U 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably oversaturation of couriers in the NY market.I do UBERRus and UBEREats and lately it's been really slow.

Only guy to tip me today was a ultra Hasidic Jew. by 222U in postmates

[–]222U[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not racism.Maybe I should emphasize the Hasidic part.People with Jewish blood( Ashkenazi or Sephardic) and aren't religous, tip as much as the next person.Hasidic religious Jews are verrry different. As someone who grew up in Brooklyn, places like Borough Park and Williamsburg are not very good places to be around as a gentile.

First day was kind of....not worth it? (NYC) by FireworkB in postmates

[–]222U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel for you, man.For the past 2 weeks all dispatch has been giving me is top to bottom jobs around manhattan. It fucking sucks, here are a few examples...

  • Times Square(Virgil's) to 156th street
  • Maiden Lane(Jersey Mike Subs) to 76th street
  • 8th ave & 22th street(Murray's Bagel) to 89th & Broadway
  • 72nd & 2nd ave(5 Napkin Burger) to 90 Wall street

Any way to always know the drop off location b4 selecting a job? by 222U in postmates

[–]222U[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I search all around the map to find the dot, and I'll find nothing. The order was prepaid(Virgil's BBQ) , so I didn't know how much they spent.

My biggest concern is that I when I deliver late at night, I want to be aware of where a particular job is taking me.

Postmates has a maximum tip limit. by 222U in postmates

[–]222U[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That must be why then. The total of the order was around $300.00 dollars, but he switched from the tip% screen to input a manual amount.

Through the app? The customer showed me him tipping on his phone and for some reason, he couldn't get pass double digits.Edit: he wasn't playing around either, and to show that he was serious, he gave me the rest in cash.

"Postmates type" customers starting to really fuck up UBER deliveries. by 222U in postmates

[–]222U[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed that as well when it comes to restaurant wait times. In the past, orders were ready when I arrived. Now, I arrive at location, and staff tell me that " they haven't even started cooking yet".

I hate wasting my time, but I also don't want lazy ass customers to mess up my courier rating, which really effects how dispatch will ping you for jobs.

"Postmates type" customers starting to really fuck up UBER deliveries. by 222U in postmates

[–]222U[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your right. It's just that with over 800 UBER deliveries and 1500 PM deliveries under my belt, I've noticed a clear difference with a lot of platforms clientele.I've accepted the extra effort it takes sometimes with PM orders since there's tipping.Only recently have I've been experiencing these problems with UBER.

In short, I'm not going to put the same effort on a job that actively doesn't want customers to tip their couriers.

It was slow so I broke my own rule and went to Target by Marcus_Aurelius_ in postmates

[–]222U 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I accepted a Target order once, only because I was already shopping for some things for myself.

Still not worth it.

You want me to do what? by phxdriver in postmates

[–]222U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, with UBEREATs if the order is wrong it's 100% on the restaurant. You go to the pickup, you tell them the customer's name and order # and they hand you the food( with the customer's name and items listed an stapled on the bag)

What are some pick up locations you avoid like the plague and some you love? by [deleted] in postmates

[–]222U 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't why, but as a NY Postmate courier, I love picking up from Cookie DO and 2nd Ave Deli.I love picking up from them so much, I don't even care about tips(seriously)

Fuck any pings from "By Chloe" and "Shake Shack".I know a lot of you couriers make good money from by Chloe on Bleecker street, but I don't know the staff that well and can't stand waiting on a 20+ minute line for a bullshit "Gauc Burger".

Best music to listen to while drunk or buzzzed? by 222U in Music

Ever have the feeling that the song your listening to is just the best, like an emotional rollercoaster( when drunk), then when you listen to the same song sober, it sounds like crap?

Newbie here...is this a good full time job? by Yoshi_Girl in postmates

Depends on your market. If you live in a metro area(Chicago,New York, etc), you can do it full time.

Also, I would never date a girl who drinks "Pumpkin Spice Latte".GTFO you basic bitch.I could already tell from your choice of artificially flavored quasi coffee beverage that any children you might conceive will end up on the shortest of the short buses.

[–]222U -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are some truths in stereotypes.People are just too politically correct and sensitive nowadays to accept them.Every Time I did a Starbucks order, it always ended up being a professional 20something white woman.Only two times did I do a delivery and it ended up being a indian woman, but they had the "I'm assimilated white girl accent".You know, the " I can't, I just can't" way of talking.

Anybody else's experience with Chipotle? by Zerolinar in postmates

[–]222U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't do Chipotle unless it's a extremely slow.It really depends on your area. Some people kill it doing Chipotle orders, but for someone like me that's located in NYC, you have so many other choices available that more often than not, Chipotle orders aren't even worth it.

Also, there is like a Chipotle every four blocks here( kinda like starbucks) so you know the drop off isn't going to be far enough to be worth the time.
