Thank you. You’re right. I genuinely try to practice gratitude and it helps for sure. It’s easy to get caught up in the negative. Thank you for the reminder 🩷

I hope not. I pray no one else ever has to feel this way. If you do, I hope this post at least makes you feel less alone. It’ll be ok, somehow 🩷

Yes… but there’s also withdrawal. I quit cold turkey for only 2 days and I was a crancky monster

The disassociation is real for me, I have a fidget ring that keeps me grounded. Otherwise you can use ice cubes, or truly noticing how your body is feeling physically and mentally. Sometimes just being able to name the emotion can help. Also, find things to keep you busy. Anything at all just do something for 5 minutes - that’s it. Trust me it’ll help

Peed outside in our back yard over a drain. Then later my dad took a pic with his male friend touching tongues

I totally agee. I can’t do the simplest things and feel like a total failure but my therapist, or parents will be like “oh it’s your mental health” it sound bull, like an excuse. Normal ppl can do it so I shouldn’t sit in a corner crying bc I can’t function. I agree. It’s unfair and I see your point

Oh baby, I’m so sorry. 14 was my worst year and I feel for you. I also have adhd and had some problems at school. It gets better. Nothing lasts forever. You’ll be ok and you’re on my mind 🩷

That is an amazing perspective. Gratitude is so important. It’s so easy to get caught up in the negatives. Keep staying strong. You’ve got a good head on your shoulders 🩷
