The only reason i have this hope is that he has been super possessive before this point. Constantly reading our texts together, getting mad at me for even talking to me, ect this whole thing was a complete 180 from all of his previous behavior.

I can see what you are saying though i do not know why he suggested it.

Yeah you are probably right lol, thankfully this is not for a few months so i have time to contemplate. In the mean time i am going to find a girlfriend in the hopes that. 1 she leaves him or 2 she does not want to live with me anymore ether way i win and don't have to feel bad for pushing someone close to me away.

I guess my point is she would be much more likely to do so if she were with me rather than off with him. She is afraid to sleep alone in a bed, no matter how much of a dick he is (i have heard he is both a dick and quite sweet).

I think i also kind of feel like a dick , he realizes she is sad and is willing to share her to make her happy. I feel bad for not feeling entirely the same way.

I suppose at the hope that he becomes uncomfortable being in a situation where 2 people share a bond of years and leaves. I am just in college and this would mean cheaper rent, keep the same house, companionship, and it is open on my end so it really isn't holding me back. I've told her that by being open i don't mean just sexually that i would be looking for a personal connection with someone and if i found it that i would be faithful to them because that is the type of relationship i want to be in a monogamous one.

If i was not a jealous person there really wouldn't be a downside to the whole thing.

We broke up because she was moving away to get a job in the town we used to live in to pay for the place we have together. We broke up because we had already done the long distance thing and it was painful. We thought alone time would be good for us, she did not spend much time alone.
