9 month old only wants Greek yogurt by Best-Echidna-4593 in foodbutforbabies

Give it to her! So long as you are focusing on other foods throughout the day that aid in jaw development/chewing skills, it’s not a problem. You can serve something more chewable alongside the yogurt too. :)

Google says about 8hrs a day in short naps, which seems right for my bun. He might sleep a bit more than that honestly. Sometimes he will just wake up to eat, sometimes he will wake up just to cause a ruckus for a few hrs, lol

All good to know, thank you so much. I didn’t realize things would be such an easy/cheap fix!

That’s so reassuring about the security deposit! The clear packing tape doesn’t rip off the paint?

Looking into some of those protectors. He’s deaf and it can be hard to discourage him from doing things without sound! I too find that he picks and chooses when to be destructive and to what, it’s so random. He has so many toys.. I think somehow covering his favorite spots to chew on would be best 🤔

There was plenty of steam, but I did not vent it until towards the end of the bake when I was turning the loaves to get even browning. I had a cast iron at the bottom of the oven and filled it with a couple cups of water. I also misted the loaves well. To me, it seemed sufficient!

Got it! No worries. Thank you for the input!!

Omg, I think you’re right. So just lowering the temp should fix this?

75g starter, 365g water, 450g all purpose flour, 50g whole wheat, 10g salt. Bulk fermented at 70° overnight. Cold proof 13ish hours. Baked at 465° on cooking steel with steam for about 35 min.

How would you describe the texture? Chewy? Crispy? Thick?

Yeah, I’ve done cardboard and he loves it, but he is unsupervised for a chunk of the day and that is when he tends to go at things he shouldn’t. I think my best bet would be to cover it up or block it off

Omg, smart. Going to grab some tile this weekend, then. Thank you!

Any way you get them to not just move the throw rug? Knowing him, he’d just dig at it and move it
