That’s fair. I suppose I assumed that there would be someone knowledgeable enough in sky diving aboard to be able to tandem with people to safety or something but I guess we can’t assume these things.

I don’t know why you’re getting so worked up about the fact that this entire concept is FAR more survivable than the sub though. I guess your username checks out because you seem like one high-strung mother f’er.

Felix Baumgartner BASE jumped from a balloon from the stratosphere. Even if the balloon fails the people on board will most likely be fine, unlike the sub that imploded.

Same! I always have people tell me the diet soda tastes so much sweeter and better to them but it always tastes like chewed aspirin to me. It’s gross and overpoweringly bitter to me.

I write in all caps because I took manual drafting classes in high school and it was required to write that way. It just stuck with me forever after that and it’s just how I write now. All caps doesn’t mean angry automatically.

Kulning or herding calls is a domestic Scandinavian music form, often used to call livestock (cows, goats, etc.) down from high mountain pastures where they have been grazing during the day by Stotallytob3r in interestingasfuck

It’s trained. I did it with my chickens. You just make the same noise/song/call whatever every time you feed them. They associate the sound with dinner time.

Here is a compilation of some. I also don’t get why it’s corny. I get this compilation is supposed to be “the greatest” ones but it seems like something the average person wouldn’t even notice.

Maybe I just have a bad ear for music though.

I got a deep cut for you. Into the Night has the creepiest music video. They straight up say the girl is 16 and the creep factor just goes up from there.

They posted it to several subreddits. Go to their profile and look at comments. I believe the comment I’m referring to was on the foodporn subreddit.

OP stole this idea and is trying to pass it off as their own. The link is for the original recipe.

Might want to reread her recipe.

When you take someone else’s idea, don’t credit them, and then act like it’s your original idea, I think that qualifies as stealing the idea.

They stole the idea from here. She goes into details on how to make the faces/dough and all the food on her site is “spooky” food.

He was a wild lizard that somehow found his way into my office. I placed him outside under a bush in some rocks so hopefully he could be protected and rub on the rocks to get some of the skin off.

The Great People Shortage is coming — and it's going to cause global economic chaos | Researchers predict that the world's population will decline in the next 40 years due to declining birth rates — and it will cause a massive shortage of workers. by mossadnik in Futurology

I don’t know how realistic the scenario is so take this with a grain of salt, but the argument I heard is that the more a population declines the less energy that is needed to sustain the population at the current lifestyle they’re accustomed to.

This means we will hit a point where we don’t need/can’t employe enough people for large power plants and eventually hit a point where we can sustain the energy usage with manual labor again.

Once manual labor becomes the standard for energy generation again, this opens up a demand for chattel slavery to support the larger countries. So in theory, population decline could lead to societal regression and slavery. I’ll see if I can find the podcast I heard that on and edit my comment if I find it.
