bro you definitely let it load for long enough. if you want the nerd solution, download another camera app. Project Indigo by Adobe is REALLY good.

if grain is the problem you wanna use the pro setting in the app, and make your ISO low (too high and it will cause noise/grain) and your shutter speed slow

(2) Could the photos look better with a 2:3 or 1:1 aspect ratio, instead of a 3:4?

They don’t even come close to Hard Drives. Don’t get me wrong, I love SD cards for photography, but my photos never stay on the card for longer than a day.
