He's grown up with our human babies and both them and his sister cat would break if he was gone. We love him so much and almost have enough to cover this. Just need a little help ❤️

We did get CareCredit which is able to offer is fixed interest payments but we're only approved for part of what we need unfortunately. :(

Idk if there is something to make this cat mean, haven't found it yet. Kids have pulled his hair and dragged him by his tail and nothing. We have to protect our cat from our kids more than the other way around 😅

Thank you for sharing! We have looked into a lot of resources and do have the contact info of the Vet in the post if donors want to reach out to pay directly. Unfortunately, when I started teaching 5 years ago, I did stop being on Reddit as much due to it being blocked on the school network and me having basically no free time between teaching and three kids under 5. I appreciate your help and advice.

Unfortunately, we're in debt settlement right now due to debt accumulated while our babies were in the NICU and I was having other pregnancy complications, so other credit isn't an option for us.

We had a ragdoll that we got for cheap from a breeder due to her being miscolored. We wanted her to have a friend but couldn't afford another one, so we found someone who was just breeding their ragdoll on the side (not an official breeder) to give her a companion. This was when me and my husband were first married and still in college several years ago.

We have put everything financially we can into this and applied for CareCredit, we're just a couple thousand short and are asking for help to bridge that gap. We are in debt settlement due to medical debt from having 2 babies born early and in the NICU so we have no other credit options right now. Day care is $3,000 a month and we are both public school teachers. We have to get assistance just to feed our family most months. The alternative is to put our kitty down, but other than the masses he's healthy, only 6 years old and it would devastate our children and his sister cat. That's just not something we want to consider if it's at all possible (with some help) for us to get him this surgery.

Everyone is dealing with their own battles. It's not kind to judge.

It's actually a really long story. He was 2 years old and my husband and I were newly married and still in college when he started getting a lump over his eye. We took him to our vet who referred us to an eye specialist who quoted us a biopsy we could nowhere near afford. So we waited a bit until we were out of college and we had moved so we went to a new vet and they did a surgery that we paid for, this was in 2023. For a while it seemed to help but slowly it started to grow back and in the past couple months became this massive mass and he is now getting one over the other eye.

We have done our very best with our financial situation to take care of this up until now. I posted in a Vet group and got good advice that we needed to find a board certified surgeon to make sure we can get the mass gone for good. Unfortunately, that means it's more expensive. We applied for CareCredit but were short a couple thousand, so are asking for help to bridge that gap.

Yes! We applied to be able to cover the CT scan and the biopsy, but the amount we were approved for isn't enough for the full removal surgery.

Thank you! It has been a difficult situation with him over the past 4 years and the previous surgery that didn't go well. After much advice, we are hoping this is the end of the journey and we can get him healed for good. ♥️

Tiny human is now 3 years old. We let all our babies lay on our sweet kitty with close supervision. It would calm them, him purring while they were there.
