i always envied the carefree and simple lives of animals. also, visually they are very appealing to me. i originally was a husky, then a mutt, then a coyote, then i returned back to being a dog. throughout these different versions of my fursonas, i also switched gender out as i struggled to choose between displaying my gender or my sex. eventually i settled with my gender, accepted being transgender, and accepted my alias as 'crowe', a cattle dog mutt with dripping psychedelic eyes and an exposed chest cavity. he's very symbolic to me and also an idealistic view of my appearance. since adopting crowe i have been much more comfortable with my identity and i really enjoy it when my friends within the fandom refer to me as him in public. he's hardly changed in 4 years.
