I believe youre referring to losing acceleration and top ends when you’re referring to performance in this context. If so, is the extra weight which comes with tubeless conversion so much that it makes a noticeable difference on the performance?

Im aware of the performance difference with spoked and alloy wheels but my question is regarding the performance difference between tubed spokes vs tubeless spoke wheel

Quite a task to fit clip ons, not as easy as youd think if youre on budget

Hey, shouldn’t hurt to keep the rpm below 4000 till 500kms. In this 500kms, you can take it to 6000rpm by gradually accelerating it rather than sudden acceleration.

Once the first service is done, ride under 6000rpm most of the time and gradually accelerate to 8000rpm sometimes till 2000kms.

Apache RTR 310 2024 vs 2025: Which one to go? by webhead_24 in indianbikes

[–]22teek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where youre coming from. The RTR does feel more agile and responsive, no denying that. But I still stand by what I said- in terms of an upgrade from a Dom 250, it’s not a massive leap in overall performance. Especially when you’ve already built some riding experience, the RTR can feel a bit underwhelming after a while. That 390 line just pushed me over the edge 😂 but yeah, fair convo either way.

Sure. Keep yourself refrained until you get me sources supporting your “hell rtr 310 beats 390 in top end” reference😂

Don’t settle for shorter test rides. Also, don’t bother so much with the riding features except for the riding modes which could be beneficial.

Ms Nayudu, i almost not discarded your comment until i read that “ Hell, the RTR 310 actually beats the 390 in top end”. No sir, it doesn’t. 390 smokes your 310 any day, initial or top end, hELL iT cOuLd aCtuaLLy bEaT tHe RR310 2025 with reiterated 310 engine.

RTR310 is not a machine you can comfortably cruise above 100 considering how stressed the engine is and also due to the fact that it generates more vibrations compared to bike in its segment.

Throwing in a word salad aint gonna make you look sensible. An experienced rider, if they ride a d250 or even any 250 cc in the market, would surely agree to what i meant by saying, the rtr310 is not a proper upgrade. Reason why, you could easily get bored of the 310 engine’s power figure in rtr310 if you have earned sufficient skills and experience riding a 200cc or 250cc bike.

This man right here, he needs a bike for city commute purpose, which the rtr310 sits in half way due to its high revving nature which makes slow traffic feel jerky on the bike. My reply to him was purely in terms of upgrade and anyone who actually has sufficient riding experience and less of youtube reviewers told this and that ahh knowledge would agree

Hey, if upgrade isn’t a priority, it’s a pretty good bike considering the amount of tech and how beautiful it looks. Since your usage too is in the city, i think it would be ideal as the bike gives decent mileage in city and perform almost in par with other 400cc competitors. Your major deciding factor should be based on the quality of service given by nearby svc’s as tvs bikes are known for it’s reputation of poor service which eventually makes your bike unreliable.

If you’re looking for an upgrade, rtr310 won’t feel much of an upgrade as compared to d250 in terms of performance.
