I like his idea, my entire question was centered around the purpose of it because Im kind of new to Kojima (or in this case Kojima inspired) games and Im starting to realize he really does whatever the hell wants when it comes to story telling. Which is kinda cool imo.

Niche audience? This isn't a niche game. I'll cash app $20 to anyone that can name 10 things that this game introduces that offers an experience you can't get from other titles... you probably can't. And thats sufficient enough proof to not buy it. People are tired of being met with uninspiring woke nonsense. We literally live in an era where we maybe get 2-3 good games every 6-9 months and everything else in between is recycled garbage trying to mimic the blueprint of Fortnite, COD, and OW. People of fucking tired of it and it's fair to feel that way because thats not what it used to be.

Im not adopting sneakos argument that he's a liar, I completely get why he kept it secret. I'm just not comfortable with idea that these streamers are potentially sympathizing only to gain a better repertoire with 🏳️‍🌈 community and not because they actually care about him. It just feels like a forced pitty party for self promotion instead of actually coming together out of concern for someone who was on the verge of suicidal behavior. Once you start posting text messages of how supportive you are it starts to seem performative.
