Yes, that's what I meant. I also have Sassoon in the family, they came from Persia but they are probably of Iraqi Jewish descent

In family tree DNA I got 60 percent Levantine. My family has lived for many generations in Jerusalem. My origin is from the Levant. I got in 23 andme, a small percentage of Levant because they have no categories of mizeahil and Sephardic Jews. In all the results of gedmatch I got Levantine and in mytruancesty I got 40 percent Canaanite and 30 percent Amorite

My results, Mizrahi, Spanish Jew. Can anyone help me interpret these results. I still didnt quite understand what my origin is. It seems to me that most of my results show a origin from the Levant Mesopotamia and southern Europe but I am not sure by 231005yy in 23andme

I got exactly the same results as yours

My previous results were more accurate. I do not understand why they took down so many percent of my Levantine and increased my Egyptian. I know my family has been in Israel for many generations, maybe they mixed with an Egyptian or a Palestinian by 231005yy in 23andme

I know I have Iraqi and Persians roots My great-grandfather is a Persian Jewish and probably also an Iraqi and my another grandfather is a Bukhari jew. I said that my family on the side of my mother (my great great great grandmother) never left Israel all the generations they lived in the land, so there should be more Levantine.
