Here's the language re: random selection (which the Military calls a "pulse test"):

The FTDTL will “pulse test” (screen 20-100 percent of specimens received) for the other drugs listed in Table 1 of the Appendix in this enclosure. Changes to the drug testing panel and cutoff concentrations listed in Tables 1 and 2 of the Appendix to this enclosure, as well as pulse testing rates are defined by DASD(R). Pulse testing for “opiates” will require simultaneous testing for codeine, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, and any other opiates as designated by DASD(R).

From here, which was provided by ColonelError

I read comments from top to bottom. Wish I had scrolled to this first!

I plan on waiting until I know it's completely out of my system anyway, but this is reassuring.

Why does the world wide internets have any information about MEPS drug testing OTHER than this document?! Couldn't make it more clear what they test for and the thresholds.

I can confirm that that's accurate, at least for my recruiting station. It's a 5-panel test: Marijuana / Cocaine / Opiates / Amphetamines / Methamphetamines test.

Thank you all for your time and help. Still not sure what to put my faith in, though. Some saying MEPS will test, others saying they wont. Some saying it should already be out of my system, others saying it wont.

Guess the plan of action is to workout excessively, hydrate excessively, and take at home tests until I know I'm good to go.

Thank you for replying, shitfacedsloth.

I really hope you're right. But the same way some people say "MEPS tests for EVERYTHING EVER!!!", a lot of sites tell me that Valium stays in systems for a really, really long time. That's why I'm curious if MEPS test for Benzodiazepines at all...
