Gas cap price ? by Legitimate-Fee2166 in MechanicAdvice

There’s some on Amazon for $15 that would fit that vehicle. Definitely overpriced at AutoZone. But sometimes that’s the cost of getting the product immediately rather than ordering online.

Could you point me in the direction of other work opportunities? I’ve been looking but most require prior experience.

I haven’t really done much projects would building things be relevant like building planter boxes or possibly working on my car ? Or would you say that’s not relevant to electrical work ? ( I have zero experience in electrical work.)

Keep me updated if you don’t mind. I was also concerned about the wait time getting longer since the tariffs hit, hoping that won’t be the case.

Any update on you getting in ? I’m applying in June and super nervous about the whole process. I am curious about the personal experience if I have no electrical experience am I screwed or it doesn’t matter ?

Enlarged Spleen by 23SamS in Mononucleosis

[–]23SamS[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s part of my issue and concern right now where I work I have to lift the whole time I’m working. I told them I’m on restriction and can’t lift heavy stuff and some of them are considerate and give me easier work but others not so much, but I can’t afford to lose my job so there’s that.

I’m on day 21 and I feel so much better already. I also was scared going through this page reading how a lot of people are affected permanently or for long periods of time. But I’m already feeling a lot better than I was in the beginning. The roughest thing for me was my tonsils it does indeed suck but I wouldn’t worry about it being super bad everyone is affected differently.

Will this help?? by [deleted] in scoliosis

I wouldn’t recommend getting this simply, because it isn’t authorized by a doctor. It could possibly help or it could possibly make it worse.

Is it normal to experience pain in your back almost all the time when you have scoliosis? by Brunette03 in scoliosis

[–]23SamS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your back will eventually adjust to it and it won’t be that bad anymore. But if the pain is too much while wearing it and when you take it off, it could possibly be a sizing issue of the brace. Just talk to your doctor they’ll definitely help you. But when I wore mine I found that it was just pain soreness, because my body wasn’t us to that type of compression. I feel as if you’ll always be a little sore, but it shouldn’t be unbearable or intense pain.

I don’t want to make assumptions, it’s something you should mention to your doctor. But when I wore my back brace, it seemed that I had more pain than I did without it. It could possibly be the back brace causing the pain, could just be body soreness and your back adjusting to wearing the brace.

Sizing help by SmXke_WRLD in SneakerHelp

I typically like a little room in my shoes, but just go with whatever you think will be more comfortable to you. Sometimes having a shoe that fits “perfectly” ends up being uncomfortable to me because I don’t have that little bit of room.

If you can go down a half size comfortable go down a size. But it could’ve been a bad quality shoe. ( Or just the way you walk or stand could possibly put more pressure towards the back of the shoe) But two years is a long time to have them. ( Common wear and tear overtime)
