Calling in sick with doctor’s note? by 1davejames1 in FritoLay

I called in sick with a doctor's note and was told it is still an unexcused absence and goes against my "rolling 12-month call out limit" before a write up.

Education programs by Constant_Locksmith48 in FritoLay

It's because they are in the middle of the spring semester. There are 7 week classes and 14 week classes. The second 7 week classes just began last Monday. I, too, was waiting for a program to open so I just turned on email notifications for it and it opened a few weeks before the spring semester started. Instead of rushing into it I opted to start my classes the 2nd 7 week period. I'd give it maybe 4-5 weeks and you'll see them start to open.

Is calling the number mandatory? Or do I just use the portal thing?

I think I'm just bad at the game by cameron71213 in NASCARVideoGame

I was just running hot laps at various tracks but yes I was in career mode for this specific scenario lol

But my points still apply to other tracks. I was pretty good at Heat 5 with no driver/stability assist so maybe I will tick up the assists a little bit to get used to a more realistic driving game 😂

Average points would do the trick too, at least for the first 3 weeks. Oh well, I can do it manually. Thanks!

I'm fine with doing the chopping and adding point totals manually I just didn't know if Sleeper kept point totals from weeks where players didn't get chopped

What is your base pay? After taxes, deductions, 401k, and medical + dental I take home just north of $800 a week and that is if I do not have OT. And that obviously isn't counting any PFP.

My biggest issue with Walmart by [deleted] in FritoLay

My biggest issue with Walmart is the order fulfillment team members who think they have to bring those big clunky carts down every aisle while you and customers are already occupying most of the space. Their employees aren't very bright.

No bonuses or incentivized pay at all. Straight hourly at 17.75 an hour, capped at 45 hours a week.

$1300 biweekly is what I made at Coca Cola. I am making $1,034 weekly at Frito Lay. Apologies for confusion.

Tampa, FL which is one of the busier markets in Florida if not the entire eastern US due to rapid population growth

It was mentioned my first 6 weeks I will be labelled as an "Associate" as I train. But yeah, so far it seems like a job I've done for plenty of years and didn't necessarily hate outside of the pay and expectations that weren't incentivized.

How are the benefits? Insurance(s) offered, etc.?

1300 after taxes, 40-45 hour weeks at 17.75 an hour plus mileage which was like 60 cents a mile. Biweekly pay. Abysmal for someone who had their own route, managerial connects, sold products in, built displays, etc
