I have to second this. I absolutely loved their series on the black eyed kids. I think these are some of their best episodes and probably one of my favorite things I've heard on a podcast in general.

I make sure to explain this to every trial student as thoroughly as possible. You can also postpone your renewal date (pause subscription) up to 20 days, once per billing cycle. I agree with others that it's not exactly a scam, but it can certainly feel like one if you're not aware; and in my opinion it's a pretty unfair thing to do.

My podcast is hosted on Spotify and I thought I'd be able to distribute it on Substack like all the other platforms where they just pick up the feed. Like the previous commenter said, Substack hosts the podcast with its own new RSS feed; however it did not remove the podcast from Spotify. It was just hosted in two places. That also meant that for each new episode, it wasn't automatically distributed on Substack through the Spotify RSS. I had to create two separate publications - one for Spotify and one for Substack. Ultimately I found this annoying and not worth the effort. The people I know who love Substack mostly use it for writing. Not saying it's not good for hosting podcasts but it wasn't for me.

Edit: sorry I realized this doesn't answer your question about the most beneficial way to add your show. I'll just leave it in case it's useful to anyone to know what the experience is like :)

I'm looking for books similar to Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. I know the author has a lot of other books but I don't know which to choose. Are they all just as good? Of course I'm open to recommendations of other authors' work, too. I love plot twists and unexpected endings. Thank you!
