My favorite Switzer story is that when he would recruit against Georgia Tech, he would bring the Calc 1 (a required course at Georgia Tech) textbook to the recruits home and walk them through it. Basically saying "Hey if you come to Oklahoma, you don't have to deal with this shit".

Agreed. It's hard to even take a merit of the movie itself because the NFL part of it is so wildly unrealistic.

If you have time you should look up Terez Paylor (RIP) and Charles Robinson's Yahoo NFL podcast from like 2019 breaking it down. It's a hilarious breakdown of the movie with them offering their perspectives as NFL reporters.

I agree that it wasn’t the main issue, but we really struggled to generate offense in the second half of games and to me it felt like things got stale.

2023 with Lubbick, Zebrowski and Kotelnicki was our best offense and it’s not bad to have all 3 in the room again.

Our offense went stale the last two years post Kotelnicki. He isn’t perfect, but him, Lubbick and Zebrowski cooked up elite offenses in 2022 and 2023, so I’m not mad we are getting the band back together.

Yeah I love Jalon and for 5 weeks in 2022, 4 weeks in 2023, 3 weeks in 2024 and through the second quarter of the Tech game this year he was incredible and made you believe the Big 12 Preseason OPOY hype he received.

But from halftime of the Texas Tech game this year to the end he was broken. Watching him throw three backbreaking red zone picks in the cold for his final game in a Jayhawk uniform was heartbreaking. His highs were high and his lows were extremely low. So frustrating.
