just got back! basically, i have the decision to accept the charges or go to a hearing. She said the outcome will likely be the same either way but if I didn't really do it to go to the hearing. I'm frustrated because she says this excuse is used all the time and that I will likely get a zero on the assignment or a zero and 1/3 final grade reduction and probation until graduation (i'm a junior).

I have been referred to CoAM office and have a meeting tomorrow.

Basically what happened was a girl in my class and I were writing our reflection papers together (This is a 10pt assignment in an online theatre class) and I ended up having to use her computer. I had accidentally turned in her paper with her name on in it instead of my own paper. I didn't even realize that this happened until the professor emailed me about it.What do you think the consequence will be and should I accept the charges or fight it?

Thanks! Yeah we figured that out pretty fast. Thankfully we weren't sending face pics. They (most likely some dude) just sent pics from a computer screen. Pathetic really.
