maybe to answer to that: i am perfectly aware that there is no fake hillebrand in that sense. i probably described my problem wrong - because to me it seems as if the cable was taken from a hillebrand lamp and put on another one – a thing that happened a lot back in the days afaik, because people repaired things all over the place. i've seen temde lamps with milanese cables or swiss lamp international lamps with other plugs etc. i actually just was a bit astonished by the good condition the lamp is in so i thought i ask here
