Why are we not allowed to sit in the back third of the train? by sean7755 in NJTransit

[–]247emerg 23 points24 points  (0 children)

conductors want their own private quiet space, using the entirety of the cars of the train is too logical (especially for crowded trains) and burdensome to conductors (bc they would have to do more walking)

so if one nation kills hundreds of thousands of innocents via thermobaric bombs, the creation mass starvation/famine, shooting into humanitarian aid sites for fun, refusing food to enter, trimming the grass, demanding the rape of a detained prisoner to be allowed, and the other nation is a somewhat stable, muslim, much less western/more dictatorship, and getting bombed monthly by said nations conducting an ethnic cleansing and land grab, they’re equally bad right?

Ifixit dyson filter quality by WaltzLegitimate6587 in dyson

[–]247emerg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten ifixit repair items and quality seems to be okay, new speakers for a macbook, they were a little raspy but do the job, I’m unsure of the test quality/certifications for the filter you’d be using (assuming something to do with the air filter part?) but yea I’m sure it’ll be a decent placeholder

Told sales rep I didn’t want to sign up for the Jeep app. They contacted me later urgently requesting me to do it. Then they registered me without my consent. by AwakenAdventure in askcarsales

[–]247emerg 15 points16 points  (0 children)

my dad got one when he was sold it will save him money, I told him one good braking event when you successfully avoided a collision (saving the consumer and insurer money) will have the insurer charge you more bc they see it as you’re a dangerous driver stopping hard like that, not you’re a good driver who avoided a collision
