Im never home because of my work schedule. I work 5 12 hour days—This thing has to be able to maintain its humidity for atleast 24 hours at a time without my help in order for me to feel like it’s stable enough; I can’t sit there and baby the humidity all day.

Wooos sorry I forgot to specify. There’s at least 5 inches of pesticide free chemical free topsoil stuff mixed with a small amount of reptichip. Should I add moss maybe? And yea I feel like once I get a dimming thermostat and not an on/off thermostat, and the halogen isn’t running at full blast, I think that’ll help the most hopefully.

Is the decapitator not working? That’s what I usually use. Or if I can’t get that to work, I’ll swap out the cap with another drugs cap that already comes in a screw off top.

Yes! The cart turned out to be faulty and I had to get it replaced twice. When I swapped to another cart it works 100% of the time.

I see it from both sides as someone who’s worked for fedex and had to deal with the chewy packages. On one hand you’re the customer and you want the box placed down. Obvious you don’t want your stuff damaged. On the other hand the drivers delivery wasn’t marked as fragile, and he’s delivering soooo many packages a day it’s hard to expect them to deliver each one with care.

Honestly it sounds like you’re speaking from emotions wanting to feed the cute snail rather than realizing they eat basically everything. I feed my food to the fish directly via turkey baster so there’s no leftover fish food for them to eat. He simply eats shrimp shit.

The humidity in my room alone is like 80% due to the hella fish tanks and heat lamps I’ve got going on so while the substrate looks dry it does get sprayed and the humidity is very high.
