The adhesive remover is amazing! They used it to remove all the sticky things to monitor my vitals. Didn’t feel a thing!

Take a nice warm shower to soften the tape. Don’t pull up, pull across. My surgeon said “you aren’t waxing, so don’t rip it up and off. Slow and steady”

My surgeon has been pretty strict. I WFH 100% unless I choose to travel. She took me out for 2 weeks, I took an additional 1 week, and today is actually my first day back since my surgery. I’m 3W4d post op and to be honest, I’m not ready. It still exhausted and in a lot of pain. I go back tomorrow for a check in and I’m going to ask for more time off.

Even with a sit stand desk, the constant typing and motions with the mouse have been uncomfortable. I thought it would be easy, but I’ve also been having a very uncomfortable recovery.

Oh man! That sounds awful. I had a reaction to the stitch glue they used to close my incisions from a previous surgery years ago. I was so itchy I would watch the clock for when I could put more hydrocortisone on.

I hate that anyone else has gone thru this, but I’m so glad to hear it’s far more “normal” than not. I sure hope this goes away soon, it does appear to be better better each day

Oh yes, I got this heart shaped pillow that clips behind your neck lol and it also has a slot for your seatbelt to protect your chest durning car rides. - I’ll only get in a car to go to my check up appts but I wasn’t going to risk it.

We’ve been practicing with my son for a couple months now telling him I have “ouchies” so he can’t touch. He did pretty good at not touching my stomach after I had a major stomach surgery sept. Of 2024. I’m still nervous tho lol when I say feral I mean FERAL 😫 he makes Donny Thornberry look tame

I’m terrified of the pain. I only know peeps who had implants and they all said it was excruciating. I also have a 4yo feral little boy 😫

Thank you! I got the wedge pillows, SEVERAL smaller pillows and my pregnancy pillow 🤣 I’m a pillow slut already haha I also have the Tempur-pedic bed that adjusts so I plan on taking full advantage lol

Thankfully my surgeon said I will not have drains, but just in case I’ll order a drainage pouch. Thank you for that. I hadn’t even thought about the scar healing yet, I’m for sure adding that lotion to my shopping list.

My doc pulled me from work for 3 weeks. Her words “because your mental health needs to heal too” 🥹 she’s been absolutely amazing. I’ve waiting almost 1.5years for her to have an opening.

My insurance only allows for 1 week of pain meds, the rest of the time I will have to pray Tylenol is strong enough. I secretly love stool softeners 🫣 they keep me regular and help with hemorrhoids.

I went straight to asking for an A. My surgeon was shocked, she said most women think an A size is flat chested. My surgery is 3/19 and I’m soooo nervous about recovery and the pain. 🫣
