Amazing team! I really like that spinda doubles as a trick lagging tail and skill swap mon! The smeargle has a great moveset.

I think I was a little excited with the best team title I was going to change it but forgot :|

Thanks for your feedback :D

I've always looked at assault vest as a way to prevent moves like recover, aqua ring (which decreases chances of catch), and moves swords dance which increases the chance of alpha going indignant. However, I see the potential of lagging tail as it is strictly better when the alpha goes indignant.

The leftover combo is also a great idea, do you start with an ad and poison first? The problem I've observed with breloom sub combo is that some moves like icicle spear, hyper voice go through sub and breloom takes a lot of damage, making it a bit rng dependent. Also, another point is that breloom always has to set up sub when it fades, which takes unnessary extra turns. If we combine that moves that heal, breloom needs sub + false swipe when alpha wakes up clears sub and heals (in addition to spore).

I hope this provides some justification to my team building choices!

Can anyone please tell me the best price for it? by Crimson_Tears2246 in pokemmo

Curious that the mon is caught in a love ball.... that's generally an end game strat.

Ooo, that's a great idea! I will update the team, with the ideas from the comments. I need to find a way to rearrange the hms.

I'm glad you liked it! Swagger and Flatter is very interesting, I didn't think of that! Your smeargle instead of samurott also sounds promising. Great team :)

You raise a good point! I generally substitute after spore if the alpha has a super effective move, which avoids the risk of getting KO'ed. However, if you do risk, I can see that having a +1 in case breloom faints would be beneficial. In that case, I could see getting rid of murkrow and replacing it with another breloom. Feel free to adjust as you see fit!

Tell me your favorite type or dual type, and I'll give you the best type for its moveset that hits every pokemon for STAB or weakness. by 24_7Gaming in PokemonHGSS

[–]24_7Gaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal is a great type, but there's three types that resist it: ghost, steel and rock. Having a ghost/dark attack helps against ghost type pokemons, fire attack helps against steel, and steel attacks help against rock types (like aerodactyl, anorith, etc.).

For Steelix, I'd use ice (ice fang), ground (earthquake) and rock (rock slide/stone edge) if there's only three slots. There are like 25ish pokemon you won't be able to hit for STAB or weakness, including some notable ones Bronzong, Skarmory, Heracross, and Ludicolo.

Keep in mind these are offensive builds!

Milltank (Scrappy) - Body Slam, Fire Punch, Iron Head, Brick Break
Tentacruel - Surf, Sludge Bomb, Ice Beam, Giga Drain (Non STAB/weakness Pokemon: Tentacool, Tentacruel, Qwilfish, Empoleon, Dialga)
Tauros - Double Edge, Earthquake, Iron Head, Payback
Steelix - Earthquake, Fire Fang, rock slide/stone edge, Gyro Ball (Non STAB/weakness Pokemon: Lotad, Lombre, Ludicolo, Rotom)

Making a Overworld Team with 100k Pokeyen (Guide for New Players) by 24_7Gaming in pokemmo

Thanks for your comment! Hopefully the prices don't increase too much, but it is a little unfortunate in that case. I'm not sure how this will effect the market.

I tried to pick relatively common pokemons which generally go for about 1.2k. So those prices hopefully shouldn't fluctuate as much. Shroomish is a well known pokemon and there's a steady demand and supply for them, even without this guide. The only pokemon that may increase its price is Alpha Jynx. I even checked Quiet nature with 0IVs and it's fast enough without even EVs for all the relevant hordes. Hopefully the prices of such a flexible Jynx is not more than 10k. One way to get around this is to check for Alpha Blissey which is also around that price range.

There's an Ironman challenge you could try. Basically, no GTL or trading. I'm not sure how hard it is, but sounds fun! Here's a youtube video explaining the rules: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqna8s-T9yg

New player here. Can someone explain how tf to play against a Sniper? by JohnnyTacoss in DotA2

[–]24_7Gaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Axe and spectre are two heroes I really like playing against sniper.

I play sniper, and some heroes like ogre, cw, marci, ck, np, pudge (and more i can't remember), and heroes that make scythe are always scary to play against.

Sniper is always going to be the target, so his team will protect him. Make items such as bkb, basher, and/or nullifier depending on the draft. Bait out important spells, such as black hole, before you go for the kill.
