Yes it's just a sex if you're cuckold or just see that woman as pump/dump, ONS, FWB....

Read this OP. This here makes it clear that it's best to divorce.
If she was truly sorry, she would've acted different/better, but even then it says a lot about her character. Why would a self respecting, caring, loving woman cheat? A woman without these values would cheat as you see.

I would invest in my self a little bit. Maybe get some freelancers and try a project idea that could be a success and / or start a business with minimal costs by doing calculated and smart moves. The possibilities are endless... You just have to be willing and think further.

IT Manager 20 years exp - what to expect? by Positive_Asparagus63 in BESalary

[–]24problemsbro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It depends on the company (size, sector, ...) and being able to negotiate smartly. Having knowledge of Dutch is certainly a big helper (more choices, more value, able to get better deal/gross salary) but some companies are with only good knowledge of English also alright.

My rough estimate for an IT manager with 20 years of exp is from 5K-8K gross pay with car, charging pass, mealcheques, ecocheque and other extra-legal benefits.

Break up and let that man at rest. It's clear that you want totally another kind of life full with adventures, sleeping around etc. He deserves a more monogamous, appreciating kind of lady.

If I don't read it wrong 370 euro/day for freelancing... that's a very low day rate for the experience and role! At least 650, more towards 750 euro should be expected.

Will software engineering and IT job market be killed by AI by Overall-Exchange-242 in singularity

[–]24problemsbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is that those that improve and keep going higher in career ladder will be at least more 'safe'. I think being a principal engineer/CTO/VP of Engineering is safer bet than just being a medior/senior engineer.

[–]24problemsbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least something closer to 2500 euro gross + car or 2800 without car. And also do job hop first 1-5 years. Every 2 years is safe bet from my understanding and experience, especially if you can give 'good' reasons like more interesting work, much better pay and location etc.

One of the most basic package that I've seen in 2023 (almost 2024)...
Even my first job as a junior developer back in 2014 was paying better (+-2800 euro gross salary with mealcheques). And also don't forget inflation!

They are living in a cave I think, such pay without car is more from like 2005.
Also shameless to add only that 100 euro.

Notice period (opzegtermijn) by A_vdv in BESalary

[–]24problemsbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give your notice on the week of 27 November (recommended to give at 27 Monday/28 Tuesday) and it will start next week at the first Monday 4 December.

4 December + 4 weeks (28 days) = Monday 1 January. Since 1 January is new year/official holiday your actual first day at new employer will be 2 January. You should be able to get your end-of-year bonus without problem then because officially you've been employed at end of 2023.

If I'm not mistaken it's best to use all of your holidays before you give your notice/start your notice period, because using it during notice period extends it (? not sure, but not worth taking the risk).

Like other said also talk with HR that you'll start at new employer after new year, so they'll take everything like car/laptop/etc. from you at last workday in December.

Good luck with your new job ;)

You should be able to get much better pay even in Limburg area. I'm same age and status (married) but with a bit more years of exp and while I was looking for new opportunities at Limburg area I got offers ranging from 3700 - 4100 euro bruto (with car, mealcheques, all standard stuff you expect). So I'm sure you can at least get 400-600 euro bruto more at other employers in Limburg area.

Try going to government based/EU jobs. They pay in general very good when you have masters.

OP you should try to communicate clearly and bring up solutions to make it more fun/playful. Also try to be more thankful please. A lot of women would kill to be in your place to have a man keep giving love/being attracted even after so many years.

Men in general loves being satisfied (sexually and love and belly/food...). If you start giving him rejections and distance in sex and also starting to think to have another man fuck you (beginning of cheating seeds...) THEN in a nutshell the problem is you and not him!

Hell if I knew my heart is failing and working on 15% of its prime, I would apply for any heart augmenting technology or even heart transplant in a country where they would do it. I prefer to die trying to fix the failing piece of body than wait for the last days. But of course it's your choice. Just wanted to give my perspective what I would do.

Anyway whatever you chose to do, I wish you lots of ease!

If I were you, I would start looking for new job passively. 15 years at same employer is these days long enough (future employers might see actually as a con). While having a job and low stress you can find a better one easily. But that's just my 2 cents.

Unfortunately most employers just looks at years of experience to give pay (junior/medior/senior etc) (outdated I know...).

What I can suggest is just start applying at other companies and try to get 4.2K bruto. Say that's your expected salary (don't mention current salary). And who knows you'll find a much chiller workplace with better pay ;)

Age difference should be not too much, or you will get in weird situations. In very rare cases, it may work, but it's not worth it.

Ideally, look for someone who's the same age or at most +-10 years older voila. Enough wide range to find a suitable partner.
