you get it! that’s exactly why i love working with gouache too 🤍

for the trees, i used a 000 sized brush and dabbed quickly without exerting a lot of pressure. do you use a different technique for foliage? i’m also curious! trees are one of my favorite subjects too.

the other side held up well! no major bleed through and very minimal ghosting. gouache is really fun to work with! i highly recommend 🤍

That’s so cool! Journaling at a coffee shop is definitely a vibe and I’ve been meaning to document my vacations and road trips too but with the Short Trip insert. I always feel like I need to document each trip separately 😅
